Marsha Steinberg is a graduate of  California State University at Northridge. She received her B.A. and M.A. in painting and etching. She also received a painting degree from the Accademia di Belle Arte di Firenze. She was an under-graduate as well as a graduate student in the CSU-IP-Florence program, while also attending the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze.

She currently coordinates the studio art program at CSU-IP-Florence, just as she was a student of the same. Steinberg has participated in various art exhibitions in Italy and in the U.S.A. winning numerous awards. Prof. Steinberg has also exhibited her art in Greece, France, The Netherlands, Canada and Australia. Her art is part of permanent museum collections in Greece and in Italy. She has been living and working in Florence since 1974.

Marsha was a finalist in the Premio Internazionale Biella per l’incisione, 1996; Virgilio d’Argento- Premio Lubam Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, 1978. Marsha’s publications include “Creazione dal Nulla”, 2005, Rolando Bellini, Regione Toscana Consiglio Regionale;  “Dipinti e Acquaforti”, 1993, Rolando Bellini, Comune di Prato; “Dipinti e Acquaforti”, 1989, Renzo Federici, Azienda Autonomo di Turismo Firenze.
